These are the most frequently asked questions about applying, being accepted and getting work with the persona part group.
You can apply directly for any vacancies advertised on our online vacancy board which interest you. However, we advise you to complete the application form on this website instead. We can then find vacancies that match your profile and you do not need to apply more than once.
We will require all the relevant documentation from you, such as a CV (in German), a photograph, references, certificates and authorisations. These can be attached to your application (ideally in pdf format); they will help us to have an idea of your skills and capabilities. You can enter your expected salary, period of notice and the earliest date by which you will be available in the text field.
We will call you and conduct an initial interview with you over the telephone. The information you provide will be assessed and forwarded internally to the appropriate recruitment advisor. This person will gladly answer any questions you may have regarding job offers. We will then select jobs that match your profile and consult with our clients. Once a client has selected you, we will call you and offer you the job, giving you full details about the place of work, your duties, working hours and the employment terms as well as information about the company hiring you.
You will have a permanent employment contract with the persona part group. We will hire you out to our clients for temporary work of varying length, based on an assessment of your profile and the particular requirements of our clients and the vacancies they have available. Our goal is to ensure that we place the right employees with the right clients. Should it not be possible to find anything suitable, you will continue to be employed by us and will have the opportunity to acquire further qualifications/receive further education and training.
The employment contract used by the persona part group is in accordance with the collective agreement of the Association of Temporary Employment Agencies (iGZ), which can be found in the download section. This covers, among other things:
- annual paid leave (24 days minimum)
- working time account
- paid sick leave
- higher rates of pay for overtime, night and Sunday and public holiday work
- Christmas and holiday bonuses
- paid public holidays
- travel allowance
For detailed information go to:
www.ig-zeitarbeit.de
The amount you earn will depend on the duties assigned to you, your qualifications and training and your previous work experience. You will then be paid in accordance with the applicable pay category under the iGZ collective agreement. If you are in a highly qualified occupation, you may be paid at a higher rate than that defined under the collective agreement.
There is generally no charge for our help in finding new employment – whether you are hired out to a client company or permanently placed.
Applicants from outside Germany are most welcome to apply too. However, they must be able to speak and write German. If you come from a country outside the EU, you will need a residence and work permit for Germany.
We will need a valid form of identification and copies (originals, where possible) of your degree and other certificates and authorisations. Married employees and families with children are in a better tax position in Germany. We will therefore require you to have a tax form completed and certified by your local town hall.
We will gladly help you find suitable accommodation for you to rent. Within the first week of your arrival, we will register you with a statutory health insurance provider, the tax office and your local town hall. We can also help you with opening a bank account and completing applications.
